The BMW K 1300 R is the successor of the K 1200 R. BMW Motorrad released the K 1300 R model in 2008. The bike remains one of the most powerful naked bikes on the market with an engine displacement increased from 1157 cc to 1293 cc. The K 1300 R model develops 175 hp at 9250 rpm and a peak torque of 103 lb-ft. The suspension has been stiffened for better road response and feel, while the second generation of the electronic suspension adjustment (ESA II) was introduced as an optional.
