Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan defends Deepika Padukone`s item number against all the critics who are scrutinizing the sizzling hot number from the film.
Recently there have been rumour that Abhishek Bachchan was insecure about Deepika Padukone`s item number in Dum Maaro Dum and that he was convincing director Rohan Sippy to have promotional music video centered around his character of ACP Kamat in the film.
However Abhishek Bachchan has come forward and cleared the air he is rather going gaga over Deepika Padukone`s item song.
AB says to a tabloid, "We have 1.20 billion people all can`t like the song. But the fact is it`s topping all radio charts and playing everywhere including night clubs, which means the youth have connected and loved the track. It`s doing extremely well and I am very happy with the response that Deepika`s number has got".
