Argentina and Inter Milan stalwart Javier Zanetti still has dreams to win more trophies for his country.
The player has received a recall from manager Sergio Batista for his national side, and is seeking to play for his country in the Copa America.
"I haven't yet given myself a retirement date. My dream is to be in the Copa America, more than anything because our country is hosting the tournament," the veteran said to Telam on Monday afternoon.
"International games are always important, and I am delighted to be there once more. The next big commitment we have will be the Copa America, and this type of match [referring to Wednesday's clash] is a great way to prepare for it."
The player also gave an insight to what Barcelona star Lionel Messi brings to this Argentine squad.
"We know that wherever he plays, Leo can make the difference and we are pleased with the form he is showing. It is a pleasure to take the field alongside such a natural talent."
Zanetti has made138 appearances for Argentina, and is the most-capped player so far.
