29 August 2011. The show portrays the story of Sandhya and her
aspirations to become an IPS officer. She dreams to break the
boundaries of her confined existence of middle-class values, but
strained situations lead her to get married to Sooraj, who is a
self-made man and runs a small sweet shop near his house. Soon she is a
part of the family whom she does not even know. The story focuses on
her struggles to fulfill her dreams and a journey where she finds help
from the most unlikely quarter – her husband who can make it possible.
Currently it has gained good ratings and managed to be the no.1 show
toppling other biggies like Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Balika Vadhu.
